JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Temporary full-time opportunity (immediate start up to December 2022)
  • Based in Dubbo or other NSW location by negotiation
  • Generous remuneration package. Salary from $ 97,152 – $107,541 plus superannuation and annual leave loading

This is a great opportunity for a land management and project management professional who thrives on working with people, building valued relationships and contributing to delivering public land and open space outcomes.

In this project focused role your days will vary from consulting and advising key stakeholders across local government, state agencies and Crown land users on the occupation and access to Crown land, identifying and assessing future land use and development opportunities, and delivering business projects for improved management of the Crown estate.

About you

To be successful in this role you will;

  • Have suitable qualifications or experience in public land management, planning, land asset administration and management, or project management in relation to these disciplines.
  • Demonstrate experience in undertaking research to identify emerging issues and prepare recommendations to resolve policy or process issues.
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate information to support policies and procedures to stakeholders in complex situations.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work towards project outcomes and prioritise competing work demands given a diverse range of issues encountered simultaneously to be resolved with the defined time-frames.
