Description

This global infrastructure company has experienced significant growth and have won a number of large projects across Australia. They are looking for a true HR Generalist to start immediately on a permanent basis with a view for this to transition into a HR Manager in the future.

About the Role

  • Apply generalist HR knowledge and practice across the end to end employee lifecycle and ensure practices are compliant with relevant legislation
  • Support in the end to end recruitment process as well as training activities
  • Act as the first point of contact to provide accurate and timely advice to employees for HR related queries including but not limited to contracts, policies and procedures, documentation, WHS, ER, etc.
  • Work with payroll to resolve payroll related queries and manage new hire registrations
  • Partner closely with employees and leaders on ER matters and interact with unions

About You

  • Minimum 4 years’ Australian HR experience, ideally across construction, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business / Commerce or Industrial Relations is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian legislation
  • Strong stakeholder management with proven ability to influence and negotiate
  • Experience with payroll would be advantageous
