Ensign Services, trading as Spotless Laundry, has been the market leader in the provision of linen and managed garment services for over 80 years, with service offerings including garment and linen rental, sale and laundering, uniform design and managed floor care and washroom services.

We currently have a great opportunity for a professional customer service representative to join our linen team, servicing our healthcare customers including SA Health, major South Australian hospitals and aged care customers.

The successful applicant must have experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment and have a passion for delivering the highest quality service to customers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate customer service representative to join our team located at the state office and commercial laundry at Dudley Park. Job duties involve attending to customer enquiries via email or phone and handling a diverse range of customer requests.

The Customer Care Representative will be required to resolve customer issues or refer customers to the correct area for their enquiries, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures and ensuring quality standards are met. Liaising with our operations team at the laundry and linen room supervisors located on the premises of our major health customers. Reporting to, and as a support to, our State Account Manager and account management team you will have the skills and passion to assist with customer reporting and relationship building.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a call centre or front-line customer service environment with strong client services skills, demonstrated teamwork and reliability.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated customer service and customer complaint handling skills
  • Ability to show initiative and demonstrate good judgement
  • An outgoing, friendly and approachable nature with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce)
  • Experience in a commercial laundry or garment rental business desired but not essential.

As part of our state laundry control hub, we require someone who is a team player and can contribute toward the overall success of the team.

The position is a full time, Monday to Friday and due to the nature of our health customers requires a 7.30am start to 3.30pm.
