About the Role

Located in Traralgon, the Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is the centrepiece of the Latrobe Valley. The centre will feature a range of facilities for competitive swimming, leisure, general community use and major regional events, including an eight-lane 50-metre indoor swimming pool with 500 spectator seats.

As the Aquatic Safety Coordinator, you will manage and lead teams of employees in assigned areas and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards. You will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.

A key function of the role will be ensuring that all aquatic facilities provide a safe, clean and enjoyable environment at all times with the minimal downtime of facilities.​

This position is being offered on a permanent full time basis.

  • SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard Skill Set​ (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
