Purpose of the Job

With a team of 4 direct reports, this fast-paced and rewarding role requires you to assist in the development of, and lead the deployment of, the tactical marketing plans for the Water Utility area of our business across the Asia Pacific Region. This role will be based in Adelaide, South Australia.

What is expected from you?

The ideal candidate has worked within a marketing function for several years and gained experience within the B2B industrial environment. You can confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders involved in the business and act as a marketing deployment leader in the Water Utility business area. You are willing to take on a challenge with an open and positive attitude. You have proven people leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of the consolidated regional marketing plan, taking into consideration the needs of various stakeholders
  • Communicate plans and engage sales stakeholders to actively participate and support regional marketing plans
  • Develop, implement and communicate regional marketing workflows and processes in conjunction with Regional Marketing Director
  • Drive the execution of the marketing plan across the region within the given budget
  • Lead and manage the Marketing Deployment Team to achieve planned activities on time and to budget
  • Support hands-on marketing execution in a given geography
  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives in the region and propose and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Lead and support competency building within the regional marketing team
  • Coordinate Public Relations and communication activities across the region
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategy
  • Assign task and plan the activities of the Regional Digital Marketing & Communication Specialist

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Marketing or related field
  • At least 2 years proven experience in marketing management
  • Marketing campaign project management (execution and cost management)
  • Able to develop tactical Marketing plans to support business strategy
  • Strong sense of Customer Centricity, Accountability, and Collaboration
  • Self-driven and proactive with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and Persistent - getting the job done – a “can-do attitude”
  • Impeccable collaboration skills - able to work with people at all levels and as part of a virtual team
  • Professional attitude, friendly personality, and motivation to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms
  • Highly skilled within Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of and experience with web content management systems and eDM systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with CRM and ERP systems
