Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist – Marine to join their Contracts team. The role is focussed on the development and management of key commercial marine contracts (services and goods).

Job Description:

• Develop and implement commercial sourcing strategies with demonstrated success of conducting contract negotiations, including cost savings, dispute/claim outcomes.
• Tendering management including tender clarifications, negotiations and evaluations, awarding, drafting contracts and post award contracts management
• Solid understanding of the principles of contract law and the ability to identify, allocate and manage risk and exposes
• Building and developing long term strategic relationships internally and externally

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree qualification in civil engineering /business/law or Accounting
• Ability to maintain and enhance the commercial integrity of senior level contracts
• Experience of developing and managing works contracts within the marine category (client side)
• Strong SAP contract management system
• Experience in developing and executing category plans with major resources projects essential
• Must be able to work within a diverse and challenging projects environment
