    Alspec is the market leader in the design and distribution of innovative aluminium systems to the architectural, industrial and home improvement markets – basically anything made out of Aluminium that is in a house, apartment, commercial property or fabricated product and have been doing so since 1974.

    About The Role...

    Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient management of due and overdue accounts, maintaining customer relationships and enforcing Alspec Trading Terms.

    At all times providing professional customer service to both internal and external customers that is aligned with the company’s vision, mission and values.

    Your main areas of focus will be;

    Customer Service

    • Processing of all new credit applications in accordance with the company’s credit policy

    • Provide and obtain credit references in accordance with the company’s credit policy

    Administration/Office Support

    • Provide details of customer credit claims/disputes to the relevant Area Manager for resolution and follow up of same so as to ensure prompt settlement
      Reconciling customer accounts that have not been fully paid and follow up of same so as to ensure prompt payment is received.
    • Ensuring payment of accounts are made in accordance with the authorised terms or payment
    • Undertake any credit related task as requested by the Branch Manager and/or National Credit Manager
    • Releasing of held sales orders in a timely manner and in accordance with the company credit policy ensuring no orders are released for customers with debts past 60+ days without the National Credit Manager approval

    About You...

    We are seeking an individual with extensive experience working as a Credit Officer or Credit Controller.

    You will be an excellent communicator, have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and have a logical and proactive approach to your work.

    This is an extremely interesting and rewarding role and will attract someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys working as part of a team. 

    Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.
