The Role

Reporting to the Product Delivery Lead, you will play a critical towards the success of the delivery of new products.

The key to this role will be the ability to wear multiple hats at different times, covering the duties of a Business Analyst, whilst also leading the way using a positive and outcome-focused approach when leading and managing stakeholders in daily standups. You will act as a conduit to multiple stakeholders spread across the business to ultimately drive Agile delivery adoptions as well as having foresight to remove any blockers before causing any delay.

As the Delivery Manager, your duties will include:

  • Facilitates and guides ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives.
  • Manages product backlogs resolving conflicts and removing obstacles with product owners, business champions and delivery teams.
  • Facilitates product increment planning across multiple streams, defining and managing the release train.
  • Builds a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and guides teams towards higher agile maturity.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, translating into clear deliverables.
  • Ability to operate across multiple project streams with varying degrees of Agile capability.
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.

Your Profile

To be successful, you will be a skilled Scrum Master, Iteration Manager or Delivery Manager who has ideally had previous exposure to FinTech's and has led a team using a Kanban framework at some point in your career. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a pleasant personality and the ability to hit the ground running.

There are a number of skills and experiences that are crucial to this role, above all else, you are outcome focused, share a team first attitude and are prepared to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty when the time comes.
