Essential criteria: It is anticipated that applicants for this role will be able to demonstrate: Capacity to give witness and model the Catholic faith and its teachingDemonstrated experience of leading pastoral care and wellbeing practices in more than one educational setting Demonstrated experience in boys’ education to better support student wellbeing and diverse learning needs The ability to work with relevant external support agencies for students who may require a high level of support Effective practices which empower others with the ability to develop and model positive right relationships amongst all stakeholders across the College community Evidence of working collaboratively and effectively to achieve sustained change and improvement Highly desirable criteria: Commitment to team and building relationships working in collaboration with the Principal and College Leadership Team to support the College's vision and mission and build a learning community focused on high expectations and standards of excellence Demonstrated capacity for leadership at the College Leadership Team level Evidence of working with staff and parents in accordance with adult learning principles High ICT skill set, demonstrating experience in working collaboratively in a technologically rich environment using data to support College improvement Experience implementing the latest wellbeing research to support informed best practice Effective administrative practices which empower others and build teamwork Demonstrated record and experience in leading processes to improve student performance and wellbeing in Catholic schools.
