Your mission: To create memorable culinary experiences.
At Crown Perth, we are passionate about what we do and what creates memorable experiences for our guests. Dressed in your freshly laundered Chef whites, you will be joining our team as a Commis Chef at our premium Italian Restaurant, Modo Mio, to ensure that Crown Perth’s vision and objectives are achieved.
The Commis Chef will also be responsible for the smooth workflow of the operation and ensuring that all food is prepared and cooked in accordance to recipe specifications to exceed customer satisfaction.
To Be Considered For The Role, Applicants Must Have
- Australian recognized trade papers OR Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent with a minimum of 900 hours of cooking experience
- Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen hygiene practices
- Full-time availability
- Ability to work as part of a team to deliver quality food and service
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good time management, task prioritization and resource management
- Previous experience in Italian cuisine is highly advantageous
- Free on-site tailoring and laundering of uniforms
- Free on-site staff parking
- Complimentary meals at our staff restaurant whilst on shift
- Penalty rates for shifts between 7PM to 7AM, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
