JOB DESCRIPTION

Expressions of interest are sought for the position of Publications Co-ordinator. This role forms part of the Marketing and Communications team. This is a part time position working three days per week.

This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of all internal and external publications and communications.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with publications management/
co-ordination
  • Collating information for Marketing and Business Development team as required
  • Assist in co-ordination of the content and production for Melbourne Pathology’s suite of publications for both internal and external audiences
  • Liaise with external suppliers to get comparative printing and production quotes
  • Assist in co-ordination of the distribution of publications
- Assist with newsletters (internal and external) and brochures - proofing, formatting, printing and distribution
  • Overseeing photographic library
  • General administration duties as required

  • Sound administration and computer skills (sound experience with Microsoft Office suite essential)
  • Design and formatting skills (Publisher and Adobe suite desirable)
  • Experience coordinating supplier relationships
  • Experience in a medical/laboratory setting advantageous

Qualifications
Relevant tertiary degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism and/or Business, or similar qualification.
