Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking office and field-based professionals for contract opportunities across Australia. 

About the Role

Embedded within the Operations Technology team, this position will manage the implementation of smart device technology designed for field-based staff. This business facing role will see you take ownership of the project plan and manage internal technicians and external vendors within the throughout the project life cycle and be a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient development of the project deliverables. 

As an experienced software project manager, you will maintain a proactive communication channel with the key internal managers, using your judgement and controlled initiative to keep the project on track. 

Your key skills and experience include: 

· Significant experience in software implementation projects, within large scale and/or complex business requirements

· Significant Project Management experience, with a sound working knowledge of testing, configuration and vendor management

· Qualifications in Information Systems or similar, coupled with Business Analyst Certification and/or equivalent experience

· Experience working within complex organisations such as mining, manufacturing and/or oil and gas is preferred, but not essential

· A commercially oriented approach to project management, team work and problem solving
