Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, ANZ, this is a critical role within the business driving and building distribution and revenue through key channels and accounts.

Perfect for someone with 5+years' experience in sales and/or account management, this role provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to expand our domestic distribution in new channels and categories and to build on a strong base in indepdents and key national accounts.


New business

  • Key focus in identify and prioritising new business and channels of distribution aligned with overall company strategy
  • Initiate and foster relationship to relevant decision makers
  • Communicate the unique nature of b.box & its products to new prospects
  • Review and leverage available market data & insights to demonstrate market leadership
  • Communicate and determine new business requirements and business capability to deliver
  • Review financial and trade spend to ensure alignment with business requirements

Existing business

  • Build on and further develop existing accounts and relationships to maximise sales potential for each account
  • Set annual budgets by customer and by product
  • Manage any allocated trade spend to budget
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure strong customer engagement
  • Engage and submit in formal range reviews, leveraging available market data and insights
  • Completion of administrative functions and reporting required
  • Maintain an account file for each customer containing all contact reports, proposals, presentations, meeting notes, documentation.


  • Building customized sales presentations leveraging marketing assets
  • Support the development and implementation of the rolling supply forecasts to ensure adequate inventory cover to meet sales objectives/new business
  • Gather and share out competitive market intelligence
  • Building strong working relationship and proactively drive opportunities to grow sales with external sales agent team
  • Participation in trade events and internal meetings, as required
  • Assisting Head of Sales, as required


You’re a thinker and a doer. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. Someone with a keen commercial eye, pragmatic approach and strong relationship management expertise.

You’ll bring:

  • Min 5y+ experience in a similar role, with an understanding of category principals and solid financial accumen
  • Tertiary qualified in business or marketing
  • Excellent verbal and wtritten communication skills
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Team player – functions cooperatively while supporting and committing to team mission and objectives
  • Analytical in reviewing opportunities
  • Ability to work in an agile, growing, fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated and resilient
  • Flexibility – ability to move from task to task easily, approaches new circumstances positively and is open to new ideas
  • Positive attitude and results-driven
  • Experience in baby/nursery, homewares/lunch and hydration, toy or pharmacy sectors an advantage
