About this opportunity

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others. The role will have a dedicated focus of working with one participant and will provide a fulfilling and rewarding challenge.

Shifts include morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Community outreach
  • Interface with other services working in the mental health sector
  • Domestic activities
  • Transport
  • Improving health and wellbeing
  • Social and community participation

About you:

Skills & essential requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or 2 years equivalent experience working in the mental health sector
  • Medication administration training (essential)
  • Experience working alongside people with complex support needs (desirable)
  • Current first-aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current valid Driver's Licence
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • Satisfactory NDIS Screening Check
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Check
