JOB DESCRIPTION

You will join Australia's fastest-growing payroll management practice. Whilst the role is all about providing high quality managed payroll service for clients, we are also focused on giving you the opportunity to develop your advisory and management skills in a friendly, client-focused environment.

Day-to-day you'll be managing multiple Payroll implementation projects for our clients ensuring the process runs smoothly and on time.


This role will see you join a progressive company at the forefront of Payroll in Australia. Ongoing technical training and support will be provided. The team you'll be joining is focused on delivering exceptional Customer outcomes with a strong focus on compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Work in small agile project teams for each project.
  • Manage full implementation of small-mid sized projects (average 1 to 3 months duration).
  • Manage client expectations and engagement to successfully deploy solutions within the project time frame, scope & budget.
  • Identify any risks of deviation from Go-Live; plan and roll out mitigation actions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and client queries; coordinate with internal teams for successful delivery.
  • Gather client feedback during implementation.
  • Perform gap analysis of customer requirements against existing application features to identify any new opportunities for product development.
  • Partner with a small team of Data Analysts & Project Coordinator and ensure team performance meets KPI.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to assist the management team in making informed decisions.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in project management, preferably in software or HR/Payroll system implementation.
  • Qualifications in IT or Business.
  • Demonstrate a consultative approach to customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple variables and uncertainty.
  • Flexibility to adapt to scenarios and evolving processes (startup experience a huge plus).
  • Excellent soft-skills and ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.
  • Passion, persistence & an ambitious drive to succeed.
  • Experience in managing team is an advantage.


You are likely to have 3-5 years of payroll experience in processing and implementing Australian payroll platforms.
