The impact you could make
As an integral part of our ICT team, you will report directly to the ICT Service and Support Lead. On a daily basis you will be responsible for providing exceptional assistance and support to our people and our business with the TUH network, servers, systems, PC's and peripherals.

In this 12-month full-time contract role you will:

  • Conduct daily system, application and network monitoring and maintenance 
  • Provide technical support with issues by taking problem ownership
  • Provide up to level 3 support to users for desktop hardware, software, printers, phone systems, cloud products and environments, remote access, networks and security
  • Maintain and develop internal and external client relations by providing accurate, prompt and friendly assistance, advice and service on ICT Services issues
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills ensuring that verbal and written responses when dealing with customers and other team members are relevant, clear, complete and logical
  • Managing vendor escalation of any support tasks
  • Maintain quality documentation relevant to tasks undertaken and systems supported
  • Maintain knowledge of contemporary industry practice, emerging technology opportunities, as well as alerts and issues that may negatively impact TUH
  • Key technologies - Office 365, Microsoft Suite, Cisco/Palo Networking, Security best practice understanding, VMware, Veeam, WVD/VPN technology, SAAS based solutions in OnPrem and Public Cloud (Azure/AWS) infrastructure platforms, Application and OS Deployment

About you

You have extensive experience in similar IT support roles and you have qualifications in Microsoft/VMware/Cloud/ITIL Certifications or an IT Bachelors' Degree.

You have a high level of verbal communication skills. and have extensive experience with stakeholder engagement. You're a quick learner, can show initiative and work autonomously to achieve your goals
