JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop, implement and evaluate applications of patient-specific 3D printing, medical devices development, cell culture and biofabrication in an integrated, cross-discipline CranioFacial setting between the Herston Biofabrication Institute and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

About the Role

  • Lead a program of research with supervision of a postgraduate student cohort.

  • Participate in collaborative and cross-discipline research with both internal and external collaborators and stakeholders, when needed or requested.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cross-discipline CranioFacial best practice, and 3D printing, medical device, cell culture and biofabrication technologies, as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Develop and maintain communication networks with a diverse multidisciplinary range of collaborators and stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Co-ordinate and facilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of applications of 3D printing, medical device development, cell culture and biofabrication in a cross-discipline CranioFacial setting.

  • Assist with supervision of students conducting research projects relating to the development, implementation and evaluation of applications of 3D printing, medical device development, cell culture and biofabrication in a cross-discipline CranioFacial setting.
