JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant will need a FRACP in Cardiology with subspecialty training in Electrophysiology. They will need to provide evidence of safe procedural practice in the EP lab. They will be responsible for the provision of high quality, cost efficient and effective care for patients with Electrophysiological/ Cardiovascular Disease and to actively participate in education and research. The position is to provide a high-quality service within the Hospital and Health Service and to participate, if requested in the provision of services in clinical Service Networks in Queensland Health. The chosen candidate is to work 8 hours a fortnight in a very busy Electrophysiology Laboratory from 17th March 2021 to the 31st October 2021.

About the Role
Develop an understanding of the theoretical aspects and clinical proficiency in management in Electrophysiology and Cardiology
Refine the knowledge of social and ethical behaviour required of a practitioner.
Actively participate in research projects and training opportunities provided by the hospital.
Supervise and assist in the teaching duties of the unit for Fellows and Registrars
