About the Role

In accordance with the Philosophy of the Metro South Hospital and Health Service the Fellow, Senior Medical Officer or Specialist is expected to provide high quality clinical care to Gynaecology patients, as per rostered activity and as per Department's needs. Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital is an accredited site for training in Urogynaecology and the Fellow will work under direct supervision of the existing Urogynaecologists. The part time position provides for clinical as well as non-clinical duties and includes temporary clinical sessions in Urogynaecology and General Gynaecology as needed and may also involves theatre sessions and participation in the after-hours roster and coverage for emergencies at QEII and PA Hospitals on week-days and week-ends as needed. The position would also involve supervision and training for junior staff as well as ongoing medical educational activities and administrative duties.
