The Role

Toll is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Consultant to join one of their growing business units based in Botany. This position requires a person who is computer literate, has excellent attention to detail, with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. The successful applicant must have the ability to ensure tasks are completed in the most efficient and effective manner, must be able to problem solve and have investigative skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to all customer enquiries, both telephone calls and emails, in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide quotes to customers in line with company guidelines
  • Complete complex bookings using both internal Toll systems as well as booking flights and the Toll network
  • Pre alert receiving states/Territories regarding all outbound movements
  • Liaise with drivers and other Toll divisions
  • Maintain regular contact with the customer regarding the progress of their consignment including any delays and proof of delivery details

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exposure to high call volume
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well-spoken manner over the telephone
  • Good problem solving and investigation skills
