JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company is a busy sheet metal manufacturing plant that provides excellent quality products to Victoria's top major building industry suppliers. Our current staff are all long-term employees with very small staff turnover.
This is a newly created role and is for our afternoon shift.
Your main task is to roll out sheet metal and mark and measure in readiness for our folder operators.
for this role you will need some sheet metal experience or an aptitude with sheet metal and willing to learn to further enhance your growth as an individual.
be able to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
able to complete allocated work unsupervised.
have a sense of urgency and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
follow policies and procedures and be proactive in continuous improvement process.
be capable in the accurate marking, cutting and fabrication of various items used for roofing products and rainwater goods.
current drivers’ licence
be reliable, friendly with a positive attitude and be willing to work overtime.
good hand eye coordination
good knowledge of basic maths skills
Must be able to work afternoon shift.
