Clemenger Group Limited operates a centralised accounts payable function for our agencies in Australia, and we have an exciting role available for an Accounts Payable Officer / Finance Officer. This role will be based three days a week with the centralised accounts payable function, and two days a week with Hall and Partners / Quantum Market Research, Clemenger Group Limited's market research agencies.
In your role, you will build your profile across a diverse range of agencies, gaining exposure to all aspects of the accounts payable function in a creative industry. Working closely with two vibrant finance teams, this role is fast-paced and interesting.

  • You will need to have excellent time management, communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills
  • You will need to have a basic understanding of accounting fundamentals, and past experience in accounts payable and data entry. Past studies in accounting will be well regarded
  • Past experience with BCC / Spectra accounting systems and / or past experience in a media and advertising industry finance role will be highly regarded
  • Please note that this role will be working across two offices – Melbourne (St Kilda Road) and South Yarra (Chapel Street)
Centralised Accounts Payable – Clemenger Group Limited (3 Days)
Finance Officer – Hall and Partners / Quantum Market Research (2 Days)

  • Supporting the management of the end-to-end accounts payable function, including monitoring inboxes and work status, and reviewing work performed
  • Answering of team member / agency queries, and training / co-mentoring of staff
  • Data entry – supplier invoices, talent supplier invoices, expense forms, corporate credit cards, supplier details, et cetera
  • Preparing payment files for EFT processing
  • Handling supplier enquiries via phone calls and emails
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Accounts Payable Supervisor and Group Finance Manager as required
  • Process improvement – proposing and implementing best practice for accounts payable policy and process
