Reporting to the Agility, Cost Control & Business Studies Manager, the Regional Cost Controller will be responsible to -

  • Procure-to-Pay Support & Control : Ensure that costs are duly and efficiently controlled
  • Maintain and optimize tools to improve their performance and maximize automation of P2P cycle
  • Support the network at a third level in case of issues on the Procure-to-Pay cycle
  • Perform regular review to check abnormal variations vs estimates.
  • Setup new operational contract in Group systems.
  • Cost Efficiency : Develop and implement methods to improve group operating margin
  • Animate the cost efficiency process preparing and participating to Cost Review meetings
  • Find, implement and follow initiatives or projects willing to optimize group margin
  • Perform Cost Control mission in the network to find initiatives
This is a 6-month fixed term role .

Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience –

  • Unlimited working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship or permanent residence).
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Statistics or relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years min experience in business operational analysis focused on cost drivers
  • Highly developed computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS excel.
  • Ability to function as part of a team and working in a multi skilled environment.
  • Well developed analytical skills and the ability to arrive at well-thought out decisions.
  • Understanding business fundamentals.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
