Net Developer, Projects and Performance
The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Projects and Performance team as a Net Developer. The role offers interesting work with opportunities for learning and development in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
The Projects and Performance Unit is located within the Corporate Services Division, which collectively and collaboratively provides expertise in people management, technology, records management and a range of other support services for the Legal Practice Division.
As a Net Developer you will work under the direction of a manager, and will be primarily involved in the development and enhancement of the OPP's existing Case Management System (PRISM).
About the Role:
- Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements and other specifications
- Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- Expert technical knowledge; including but not limited to Microsoft .NET Framework, developing in C# and Winforms, MS SQL, SDLC, API, REST and JSON/XML format
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills in the context of systems, networking, databases and user support
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Strong project management and planning skills
