The Opportunity

If you are energetic, ambitious, enquiring, and enjoy the intrigue of complex or unusual data sets then this role is for you!

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing effective pricing processes and pricing models whilst fostering close working relationships across the business, maintaining the integrity and governance of pricing to all external customers to protect customer profitability and company gross margins. You will work across all aspects of pricing including system maintenance, reporting, and controls which includes adoption/compliance to Pricing Policy and Frameworks. 

You will work collaboratively with various commercial teams across the business to:

  • Drive future pricing functionality and guidelines across the business
  • Identify, investigate, and interrogate pricing anomalies and how this impacts financial performance and/or contributes (or otherwise) to broader commercial strategy achievement.
  • Collaborate with and support the Pricing Manager through all facets of pricing strategy and methodology
  • Benchmark pricing best practice across the business
  • Manage pricing and policy compliance and training facilitation as well as contributing to continuous process improvement
  • Support the development of sound revenue strategies via the gathering of market pricing intelligence

What you will bring and develop

You are an inquisitive pricing professional who enjoys understanding pricing anomalies and how these influence commercial outcomes. You will bring great communication skills, stakeholder engagement across all levels of business, and a positive, can-do attitude. Your prior experience in analytics either from a commercial/finance/pricing or category/sales background will hold you in good stead. The capacity to understand pricing nuance and long-term commercial visualisation will be an advantage. Your enthusiasm for numbers and the ability to work with complex data across various systems will see you succeed in the role.

You will also have:

  • A desire to foster strong working relationships
  • SAP advantageous but not essential
  • Excel/financial modelling experience.
  • Thorough understanding of process design and control principles.
  • Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
