The Opportunity

Berry Street is undertaking an IT transformation with the objective to modernise and build a robust mature technology environment which will develop the technology services into an organisation enabler, provide future readiness and enable the organisation to continue to provide high quality services.

The Project Officer – Systems Administration and Support will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of IT Infrastructure Projects within Berry Street School (4 campuses). The role will provide coordination of vendor resources as well as support and training to school staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the effective delivery and implementation of IT Transformation projects within Berry Street School; coordinating, scheduling and monitoring IT project deliverables as well as collaborating with the Berry Street IT team and external vendors.
  • Responsible for the delivery and support of Helpdesk Services in collaboration with IT Managed Services Provider (supporting End User devices, Desktop Operating Systems, Software and management platforms, Active Directory and O365 email, OneNote and Teams)
  • Demonstrate and provide training to end users on use of IT equipment, devices and business applications.

About You

  • Experience with Office 365 rollout and Cloud Infrastructure projects with previous participation in effective delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience of complex IT environments, ideally within schools or the education sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with and manage vendors.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to train non-technical staff.
