The Role

We’re currently seeking a Casual Salesperson to join our team based in Prahran, VIC. You'll also cover leave at our Fitzroy showroom when required. Our showrooms are open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm. This autonomous role will report into our supportive and knowledgeable Showroom Manager and be responsible for growing sales through offering a tailored boutique experience and expert advice. Additional accountabilities include:

• Stock Control;
• Tinting of Paints;
• General Housekeeping;
• Cash Reconciliation.

About You

To be successful at Porter’s you'll understand the importance of colour in design and have a natural flair for creativity. You'll have a passion for developing your career within technical sales and be motivated by providing exceptional customer service. Ideally you can demonstrate:

• Colour and design experience ideally within the painting or interior design industries;
• Proven track record in retail sales and exceeding Customers expectations; 
• Availability to work Saturdays; and a
• Willingness and physicality to manually handle paint.
