A NEW OPPORTUNITY EXISTS with our client ‘Green Goes the Grocer’. Located in Castlemaine, they are a supplier of certified organic and biodynamic fresh produce, organic bulk dry goods, biodynamic meat, organic chicken, organic dairy, earth-friendly household goods and more!

This role offers stability and longevity with permanent-part time hours and the opportunity to work within a friendly, personable, and environmentally conscious team.

Days & Hours:

• Mondays: 6am to 3pm
• Tuesdays: 11am-7pm
• Fridays: 9am to 6pm
• Saturdays: (every second week) 9am to 4pm

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Greeting customers and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating tils and money handling.
• Unloading and sorting produce.
• Open and close the store and oversee junior staff as required.
• Cleaning, stacking shelves and other ad hoc duties as required.

You will join a friendly, personable, and environmentally conscious team who strive to provide outstanding customer service and wholesome, ethical, and sustainable produce.

About you:

• Excellent verbal communication skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• A reliable and positive attitude with a willingness to help in other areas of the business as needed.
• The ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment.
• Previous register operating experience would be highly advantageous.
• Sufficient physical strength to unload deliveries and arrange displays.
