TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer – Part Time to work with our locally based Townsville client 2 days a week. This role is looking for someone available to work on a Monday and Tuesday for a great organisation on a casual basis.

Principle Accountabilities Include

Manage, review, update and maintain the payroll system ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency
Responsible for end to end processing of wages and termination payments for staff
Process superannuation
Ensure new staff contracts are entered HR/Payroll System
Ensure all end of year processes for payroll are completed
Ensure payroll reports are updated for external audit requirements
Adheres to various legislative, policy and award requirements
Maintains an understanding of the current legislative requirements, regulations and policies and processes

Coupled with a strong attention to detail, you will also possess the following:

Experience In a Similar Position Is Essential

Strong Administration and communication skills
Great customer service
Result orientated and effective working within a team environment
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
