The Position
St John of God Murdoch Hospital is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional to commence as Manager Quality & Risk on a permanent part time basis working 72 hours a fortnight..
In this role you will provide leadership and coordination of the Hospital’s quality improvement and risk management programs, maintain accreditation and licensing obligations and manage Quality and Risk team and allocated resources.
If you are a committed health professional with comprehensive experience in quality and risk practices and principles within a health care environment, a sound understanding of accreditation standards and demonstrated leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge, expertise and achievement of accreditation and private hospital licensing requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience in quality improvement and clinical risk management in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to lead and facilitate the work of multi-disciplinary teams.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence as a change agent.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and advanced level of report writing skills and the use of information technology
- Sound computer literacy, including an understanding in the use of clinical risk databases.
