Due to business growth a new position has been created for a Commercial Finance Manager- Supply Chain and Engineering to join our high performing and innovative team.

The Commercial Finance Manager harmonises the idea, design, supply and quality of future products and services, to a highly competitive market with a view of making customer experience better and continually growing the business. As a Commercial Manager, you will work in close collaboration with product development teams and regional business groups. You will be responsible for relating global marketing needs to multidisciplinary teams including Product Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Equipment Engineering. This role reports into our Global Engineering Manager who is based in Melbourne.


  • Solicitation and analysis of input from relevant sources and prepare Product Requirement documentation for the assigned projects/new products
  • Facilitate the communication of global competitive activities and products to the product development project teams and the regions
  • Be proactive and pre-emptive with required new product development projects to address and resolve issues in a timely manner pending input from the regions and affected departments
  • Build working relationships with regional marketing personnel to understand their market drivers, business models, opportunities and needs in their business
  • Plan, manage and coordinate the introduction of new products into global markets, including formulation of marketing communications plan, launch production volume ramp plans and product training materials
  • Work as directed on key process improvements and ad hoc tasks consistent with your skills and experience


  • Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Scientific, Engineering or Business discipline
  • 5 years + experience in Commercial Finance
  • You are resilient, collaborative and have a proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work remotely as some team members are based in global offices
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex tasks and projects
  • Business acumen, finance focus
  • Takes responsibility, is accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and hands on project management skills; exercising your ability to think creatively whilst being a strong individual contributor
  • Excellent presentation skills and a natural ability in written and verbal communications
