How will I help?
The vision of Westpac’s Institutional Bank (WIB) is to create a nimbler, execution focused business generating superior performance through an engaged workforce. This role supports WIB’s vision by contributing to our business transformation working across and within our Global Transaction Service (GTS) and Corporate and Institutional Bank (CIB) domains.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will deliver complex projects and contribute to various business initiatives while ensuring the needs of the business and client are being met. You will become a records management subject matter expert (SME) and will lead, collaborate and partner with various stakeholders across WIB while providing support, expertise, and knowledge in shaping the future of Records Management.
You Will Also
- Develop and manage necessary Records Management documentation and analysis.
- Manage the development of detailed Business Requirements while defining clear solutions which outline the business and client impact to drive business and technology change.
- Perform ad-hoc project work and requests for detailed information and analysis
- Support testing, training, and implementation of functional solutions to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions

What do I need?
You will have strong experience in records and data management, system functional analysis, business process improvement and data analysis within an Institutional or Corporate Banking environment. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and relationship building ability with a variety of stakeholders.
Some Further Advantageous Skills
- Demonstrated experience working on records management transition projects
- Documentation deliverables (User stories, Business Requirements Documents, Process Maps/workflow diagrams and ROI Analysis
- Ability to build strong and trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and facilitate workshops
- Strong understanding of analysis techniques including process engineering, gap analysis and impact assessments
- Knowledge of Agile or waterfall project lifecycles and data modelling is highly regarded
