Within the PwC's Consulting Analytics team in Sydney as a Government sector focused Manager you will work collaboratively with our broader Consulting teams on important client projects, or sometimes directly with clients on more specialist or technical analytics based assignments.

As a Manager in our Analytics team your impact will be seen by: 

  • Establish and develop key client relationships, working as a team to generate and drive new opportunities, shaping propositions for clients, writing proposal responses, structuring delivery engagements and performing senior team management roles for multiple client projects, from initiation through to successful client outcomes
  • Helping design, build and deliver innovative analytics-backed solutions primarily for our large Federal, State and Local Government and Public Sector clients, also working on projects for our wider clients from other industry sectors, working as a team to drive propositions around customer centricity, productivity, supply chain, workforce, environment, infrastructure and cities
  • Always taking a business led approach to analytics, blending your commercial understanding with your analytical experience and consulting mindset to ensure that the insight we develop can truly be used by our clients to add value to their organisation.
  • Helping manage and energise, cross competency teams for client project delivery, drawing on multiple skill sets to deliver client value in a highly collaborative, agile and accelerated manner using a broad range of different analytical techniques and technologies
  • Coaching and supporting the development of our team through care, passion and hands-on analytical expertise

About you 

You have a background in a Consulting environment with experience with Government related work and are skilled in providing data insights/visualisations and analytics to clients with an understanding of applications and benefits that analytics and innovation can bring and how to communicate this with both client management and analytics practitioners.

You have experience working within a consulting firm, analytics boutique or corporate environment with a strong analytically focused role focussing on developing analytical solutions using both traditional and cloud based technologies, together with an understanding and experience of the application of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques.

You will have experience of hands-on delivery and leading teams using a variety of analytical techniques and technologies and demonstrated skills in building personal networks, hypothesis-based problem solving and the ability to execute actions effectively.
