The Company has an extensive network of agents and other service providers and conducts more than 365,000 relocations/removals per year, through the transfer of corporate and government employees and moving individual consumers. We offer services from the fulfilment of the entire relocation/removal process for corporations and their employees, to moving a home across town or around the world.

We are now seeking applicants to join our new Move Management – Inbound team as a Move Management Consultant. This opportunity has become available during an exciting time for Allied as we develop our focus to deliver our product with the utmost quality and customer centric focus across the entire APAC region.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager – Inbound, the Move Management Consultant is responsible for coordinating the E2E process of the imports process in an efficient and timely manner for our consumer clients moving to Australia & New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Receive and register all import documentation into relevant systems and forwarded to clients and/or appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively communicate with clients at all times
  • Closely monitor shipment arrival schedules and ensure early reporting to Customs
  • Professional liaison with sister companies, franchises, partner agents, agents, Customs and Quarantine Authorities, shipping companies and other commercial entities all times
  • Communicate and arrange the delivery of household goods.
  • Administration and maintenance of all Import files

We are seeking an efficient and highly organised individual who will take pride and ownership of their role. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar imports coordination, international freight movement or customer service role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as managing their workload autonomously.
  • Have the drive to take on new challenges and develop skills to support the wider team and service delivery to customers.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills
