The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the incoming way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS will provide about 460,000 Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live a fuller life. Our goal is to build a robust and sustainable range of NDIS 1:1 services direct to customers which will then provide them with the ability to achieve their goals including living in their own home.NDIS Healthcare Australia are seeking a proactive, experienced, well-rounded individual who has broad generalist HR experience as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the senior management team, to deliver a wide range of people related services, ensuring that delivery standards are achieved, whilst managing a small team.

The role:
We have a full-time vacancy for a NDIS Workforce Manager to provide support and guidance to the NDIS and disability services team. The role will assist the General Manager, State Business Managers and Internal stakeholders to support the needs of customers and achieve the company’s objectives and deliverables.

About You
Whilst your main focus will be to manage and lead the operational and strategic people related services for the wider NDIS team across all HR related tasks, contributing towards the development, implementation and evaluation of best-practice HR strategies, policies and processes and ensuring legislative compliance, other duties will include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring compliance with employment / industrial relations including modern Awards, National Employment Standards and other relevant legislation.
Managing the development and implementation of effective performance management practices including the provision of high-level support for the management of under-performance Collaboratively work with the HCA Recruitment Hub, to ensure the optimum number and appropriately skilled staff are recruited to support the NDIS business.
Ensuring people related matters are effectively managed and HR strategies are delivered in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
managing the development and implementation of workforce and Succession management strategies that enable the wider HCA NDIS team to effectively anticipate current and future capability gaps and identify future leaders to fill key roles.
Managing the development and delivery of an attraction, retention and attrition strategy including induction and orientation practices, employee engagement initiatives, equality and diversity initiatives, succession planning and exit planning.
