Woods & Co Hospitality have partnered with the team behind some outstanding Hospitality Venues all around Melbourne. We are on the hunt for capable Bartenders to be a part of the team of this “new-kid-on-the-block” venue in the heart of the CBD.

You are an experienced bartender a veteran in shaking a few tins, creating some funky beverages in a fast-paced venue and has a love of music, exotic cocktails, amazing food and people. The right candidate will have made a few martini’s and interesting mixed drinks in their time, helped their fellow bar team smash out the busy nights and have great people skills in general.

You will be a person who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and is well versed in the bar, while schmoozing the guests and generally being an awesome person and a team player!

What do you do?

Shake a few tins and garnish a few glasses
Love good banter.
Strong F&B background and knowledge
Come from a restaurant, bar background.
Manage open and closing procedures.
Cash handling skills
Wine and cocktail knowledge preferrable
Ensure smooth bar operations in operations
What do you need?

At least 1 year experience in a busy restaurant style bar
Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend availability and willingness to work across a 7-day roster including weekends, and some late night.
Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks.
Fluent written and verbal skills
Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team and lead by example.

Previous experience working at higher-end restaurant bars a bonus
