About the business

Urban Horticultural Solutions is a award winning landscape management and maintenance company with over 15 years experience in the industry.

We are an expanding company currently seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, hard working Qualified Landscape Gardener - Team Leader

The role will be:

• Full time, Monday to Friday
• 38 hours per week, plus overtime
• Superannuation entitlements
• Immediate start in a friendly and supportive team

The successful applicant shall require:

• Ideally 3 years experience in high-end, prestige gardening/horticultural
• Full driver's license and own vehicle
• Preferred: Manual license, LR, First Aid Certificate and White Card

Skills and experience

• Competent irrigation knowledge, including installation, servicing and problem solving
• Excellent garden maintenance understanding and skills

• Leadership qualities, with the ability to lead a small team
• A comprehensive knowledge of plants and plant health
• Pesticide and disease identification skills
• Soft landscaping experience, including advanced planting, lighting, turf and basic construction skills
• Passionate and strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Competent in reading and interpreting plans
• Experience liaising with clients

Remuneration:

• Wages negotiable with suitable candidate
• Company vehicle, uniform and PPE supplied.
