The Role

• Department for Health and Wellbeing, System Leadership & Design, System Design & Planning
• Salary: $114,105-$118,413 - ASO8 - Full Time / Ongoing

• Leading and managing the development of planning processes and activities that ensure appropriate planning for future health services and facilitate implementation of identified health reforms across the system.
• Leading and managing processes to identify clear commissioning intentions for the Department by developing a 3 year rolling commission plan
• Researching and analysing international, national and local evidence to identify, best evidence, practice and key performance indicators relevant for adaptation for the South Australian Health Care System thereby contributing to the development and design of new service models based on evidence of program performance and best practice principles.
• Contributing significantly to the development of a vision and roadmap for the SA Health system 5-10 horizon ensuring the health needs of the community are met in the future.
• Contributing significantly to provision of a system wide perspective and coherence to all macro planning work and emphasising the importance of taking a system – wide view with respect to these plans.
