With more than 70 years' of experience in the building and home improvement markets, Stratco is one of Australia's largest manufacturers, marketers and retailers of quality building and home improvement products.

Stratco are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual who has a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity for a flexible and customer-focused person to become an integral part of our growing national and international company. As a Stratco production team member you will be a key member of our operations team and will be required to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing goods to the customers requirements
• Interpreting product drawings
• Operating purlin mills
• General housekeeping activities
• Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies and procedures
• Participation in tool box and team meetings
• Training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
  
  

Key Skills And Attributes

• A commitment to producing quality products
• A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
• Experienced Purlin Mill operator (preferably Hayes Purlin Mills, but not limited to)
• Good understanding of machine set-ups/die changing
• Quality control focus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interpret product drawings
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
