Boroondara is changing
We are in the midst of implementing our new organisational design. This change is crucial to delivering on our commitment to become a truly customer centric organisation. We are aligning how we work together with where we want to be - what does this mean for you?

You will bring a fresh perspective to our business transformation, allowing you the opportunity to influence, challenge, lead and explore areas within your portfolio while collaborating with teams outside of your specialised area.

A little bit about the role

This key leadership role presents an exciting opportunity for a systems minded individual with strong analytical skills who wants to spread their wings.

Our Operations and Systems Lead, together with a dedicated team, will look holistically at our people systems, operational processes, and how we analyse and report information to drive continuous improvement.

We are primed for someone to come in and take us to the next level! You are flexible and resilient, not afraid to challenge the status quo, and ready to drive and implement some changes with impact.

What does this look like?

  • Provide people leadership to our operations team, including payroll; challenge and support us to be the best we can be and stretch our thinking.

  • Oversee HR and payroll systems - from evaluating system requirements and integration opportunities through to vendor management, implementation of enhanced functionality and/or new systems, and everything in between.

  • Lead process optimisation and further digitalisation.

  • Develop a metrics framework which drives leader accountability, informs decision making and monitors our employee experience.

You will be a key member of the wider People, Culture and Development leadership team working with us to continue supporting our customer experience and organisational culture goals. We are passionate and committed in approach, but like to have fun along the way too.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong people leadership experience including leading through change.

  • Extensive HR information system management experience - including managing implementation projects.

  • Sophisticated reporting and workforce analytics skills and high attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and influence others to move toward a common vision.

Employment Requirements

  • Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

  • Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check.
