Senior leadership opportunity to join our Family Violence Program in the role of Program Manager.

  • Salary commensurate with experience, range: $114,166 - $145,301 plus superannuation

About the role:
The Family Violence Program contributes to the safety of adults and children impacted by family violence and assists in reducing the incidence of family violence by providing legal information, advice and representation to affected adults and children. In the role of Program Manager, you will lead and develop VLA's program of family violence legal services throughout Victoria as well as managing a small team of lawyers and non-legal staff. You will also be responsible for delivering state-wide projects and activities.

About you:
You will have proven leadership experience, where you have demonstrated your ability to develop and meet strategic goals and effectively lead high performing teams to deliver. Your extensive knowledge and experience and/or ability to acquire in family violence legal practice, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills will see you well placed to succeed in this role. This will be underpinned by your knowledge and commitment to social justice principles, including the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the justice system.
