About the role

As the Associate, Commercial you will have the opportunity to work in a team that partners with other government agencies, the private sector and non-Government organisations to deliver major commercial projects. These projects include property and infrastructure transactions, particularly unsolicited proposals and other direct deals, business case development and infrastructure strategies, key commercial and investment initiatives, and programs.

You will be directly involved in project development, developing commercial and financial structures to support project outcomes, investigating opportunities to support private sector involvement in project and service delivery, and contributing to complex negotiations on behalf of Government.

About you

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to solve problems, and gathering, analysing and presenting information.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • The ability to support the delivery of projects with competing priorities and meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Experience in analysing and presenting a wide range of financial data sources and effectively communicating the outputs to non-technical stakeholders and other employees.

A recruitment pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles for this role or similar roles that may become available over the next 18 months.

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($97,443- $107,864) plus superannuation and leave loading.
