With customers in such a broad range of industries Connect Source has experienced continued steady growth particularly in recent years. With further expansion on the horizon, we are currently in need of three (3) Production Assemblers to join our team at our head office facility in Midvale.

Core Duties:

General assembly of wiring harnesses and control modules.
Use of semi - automated cable processing and marking machines.
Use of hand and machine applicator tools for crimping and conduit cutting (wire processing on wire processing machine).
Operate harness braiding machines.
Use of hand-held soldering equipment.
Building all products to internal manufacturing standards.
Setting of crimping applicators (includes other tool setting)
Manufacture wiring looms and controllers, when required.
Interpret wiring schematics and technical drawings.
Works under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment.
Assists in the provision of on-the-job training.
Experience and qualifications of the successful applicant must:

Be confident working with their hands and be generally dexterous.
Be willing to learn and work to company standards.
No formal qualification required (on the job training will be provided).
Previous electrical harness assembly or similar production experience highly regarded. (desirable)
Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilst maintaining work to a high standard.
Ability to read electrical drawings would be advantageous.
These three (3) roles are available for an immediate start with an expected 40 hour working week. The operation hours for these positions are from 3:00pm to 11:30pm from Monday to Friday.
