About You
You are an inspirational people leader with experience and passion for delivering Maintenance services. You have a balanced focus on strategy and operations and can provide clarity and direction for the Maintenance service aligned to the broader business context and goals. About the Role
As a key leadership position within the Serco team, this role is a hands-on position responsible for leading and delivering the Maintenance services at Fiona Stanley Hospital in accordance with contractual requirements, relevant standards, and best practice. You will lead a well-established team in support and delivery of services to the client. The Maintenance Manager is accountable for driving operational excellence and innovation to deliver sustained and compelling business value. The role is a critical leadership position for the FM portfolio requiring agile, inspirational, and servant-leadership mindsets to create a high performing and positive culture.

What we’re looking for:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
Relevant qualification and / or experience in a related discipline or equivalent industry
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically Tier 1 ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated senior leadership experience within a complex, unionised maintenance environment with the ability to influence, coach, delegate and think clearly under pressure
Proven ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting contemporary human resource management practices, including equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, safe work environment and practices, ethical behaviours, public sector standards and associated department policies
Ability to successfully manage complex budgets and work within a KPI driven environment
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders in various contexts
Sound business acumen and a track record of delivering value-add impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The following experience and qualifications are desirable:
Knowledge and experience related to the plant and equipment found within a hospital environment
Previous experience in infection prevention and management within a health care environment
