This is a full-time permanent role located at Northam Depot.
About the Role:
This role is accountable for repairing, servicing, maintaining and undertaking project work on Western Power’s heavy vehicle and mobile plant to ensure they are operating safely and maintained to manufacturers and Australian Standards
About you:
The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:
- Demonstrated industry experience as a Mechanical Tradesperson
- Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 35 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’- endorsed manual (subject to business requirements)
- Intermediate Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Base Trade qualification (AQF3) in either Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, Mechanical Fitter or Welding
- High Risk licence class Forklift
- Valid WA ‘HR’ and/or ‘HC’ Driver’s License (as required)
- Relevant Network Authorisation including Basic Emergency Life Support (must be obtained within the first month of employment)
