Role Overview

We don’t want to know what you can do. We want to know why you do it.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Director to deliver our full social offering for our retained and project clients, and will have proven experience with content planning, ideation and managing production, client management, managing the paid and organic advertising activity and reporting.

This client-facing role will deliver end-to-end social media marketing solutions across a diverse portfolio. Your day to day will include account management financially-focused tasks including quoting, projections, client management as well as supporting our Social Media Specialist and Social Media Director with paid campaign management, reporting and monthly content planning.

You will be the main day-to-day client point of contact for Rare’s social media retainer clients. You will assist the Social Media Director when required with social & content strategy work, as well as working closely with the Social Media Specialist with content planning docs and client comms when required.



Responsibilities


  • Project manage content creation and planning from strategy through to delivery across the client portfolio.
  • Lead responses to the brief, managing content ideation and production with consideration for channels, audience and budget.
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative team to contribute to the development and refinement of the creative product across multiple industries.
  • Demonstrate sound creative judgement; protect the integrity of creative work from brief to execution to deliver high quality creative.
  • Respond to all social media client requests in a timely manner in order to interpret requests and develop relevant social-specific briefs for the Social Media Specialist (Content Plans, Social Posts, Paid Social activity) or the Social Media Director (Social Workshops, Social and Content Strategies, Reports, New Business Opportunities).
  • Plan monthly and quarterly content against agreed pillars taking into consideration business objectives and brand relevance.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports with an analytical approach, providing valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Effectively prepare for and manage client meetings and presentations.
  • Ensure services are delivered on-time according to defined scope and timeline, while building positive professional relationships with clients and team members.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes to allow for smooth execution of projects and improved efficiency across departments and team members.
  • Provide clear and reliable financial forecasting to the Social Media Director.
  • Support the Social Media Director in management of all required financials, timesheets, billings, POs & budgets.


To succeed in the role, you will require:

  • 4+ years social media marketing experience
  • 2+ years Account Management experience
  • Agency experience is preferred but not essential
  • Exceptional project and client management skills
  • A multi-tasker with a go-getter, can-do attitude
  • Assertive with the confidence to act autonomously
  • Strategic, connected thinking and problem solving
  • Proven track record of delivering strong social media results
  • At home in a fast-paced advertising agency environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive to deliver work to the highest standard
  • Strong social foundation with a willingness to learn
  • Confident with key analytics tools and analysing data to derive insights
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and act on trends
  • Software skills required: MS Office, Facebook Ads Manager, Keynote
  • Software skills favoured: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Campaign Manager, Snapchat Ads, Supermetrics, Jobbag, Agora, Hootsuite, Sked Social
