You will be working on a remote greenfield project for an ASX listed mineral exploration company. They are focused on tenures in the East Pilbara.

Your new role
As an experienced Field Assistant, you will be working on a drilling program in a remote environment. The exploration projects have had positive results on their tenements; which has created an opportunity for an experienced member to join their small green fields exploration team. The Field Assistant job will be working closely with the Geologists. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• RC and diamond core processing
• Orientation, mark ups, and cutting
• Clearing lines and pegging
• GPS work
• Camp and vehicle maintenance
• Cutting core, lifting core trays, photography and mark up
• Collecting and dispatching samples
• Assisting Geologist's with reports

What you'll need to succeed
As a passionate and experienced Field Assistant, you will be seeking a role that allows you to follow your passion and work in the bush on a remote camp. This is a small crew, cooking and cleaning is communal. You will be expected to assist other members of the team, cultivating a fantastic working environment, which is essential to this role. You will be expected to be a good team player, bring a sense of humour, down-to-earth manner and a willingness to role-up your sleeves.

• Manual C Class Drivers Licence
• Previous experience as a Core Technician is essential (min. 12 months)
• First Aid Certificate
• Ability to pass a strict pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
• 2x current references (covering last 12 months of employment only)
• up-to-date flu vaccination
