JOB DESCRIPTION

The Centre for Learning and Teaching delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes that promotes high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff. Based predominantly at the Joondalup Campus, the Centre for Learning and Teaching plays a key role in designing and implementing future teaching and learning strategies and enhancing the student experience.

The Role
Under the broad direction of the Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT), this role will oversee Edith Cowan University’s (ECU’s) maintenance and expansion of short courses, accelerated courses, and micro-credentials to further develop ECU’s reputation as an innovative online learning provider. The role works across the University to coordinate and support the development and implementation of new offerings, and provides strategic advice and support to drive efficiency, effectiveness and quality improvement in ECU’s infrastructure, processes and course offerings.

Key Criteria
In addition to the accountabilities in the position description, the key criteria are:

Demonstrated record of success in developing and implementing initiatives in a large, multi-stakeholder organisational context

Strong written, verbal and visual communication and facilitation skills, with proven ability to collaborate with and influence different levels of academic and professional staff

Demonstrated experience in the planning and management of university change projects

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, Ongoing position attracts remuneration of $103,263 to $116,306 p.a. plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
