Exciting opportunities are currently available for Assistants in Nursing to join Nursing Services at the Eidsvold Multipurpose Health Service within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: Assist in the provision of a high standard of clinical and patient-centred care within the Eidsvold Multipurpose Health Service ensuring that nursing care is focussed on individual resident/patient/client needs, under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurse. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Actively participate in and support education, and portfolio functions within the Eidsvold Multipurpose Health Service.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox), and Pertussis (whooping cough).

From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis
