In the role of Client Relations Consultant you will:
• Work in an inbound customer call centre environment, delivering service to customers in an efficient and timely manner.
• Play an integral role in the achievement of Transport and Main Roads delivery of quality service and grade of service.
• Represent Transport and Main Roads in the release of high quality information relating to Vehicle and Vessel Registration and Licensing products and services to industry and domestic clients of the department;
• Take responsibility for customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction by resolving problems.

Accountabilities include:

• Represent the Department of Transport and Main Roads as a first point of contact in a Call Centre environment about vehicle and vessel registration and licensing products and services, booking of vehicle inspection and driving assessments;

• In a Call Centre environment provide prompt, competent, consistent and courteous telephone and electronic mail information services to customers in accordance with the Centre's Quality Standards;

• Support the Department in front line service for changes in government policy and new government transport related business;

• Ensure a high standard of data entry pertinent to vehicle and vessel registration and licensing systems, driver assessment and vehicle inspection bookings including heavy vehicles, passenger transport, modifications and defective vehicles (as issued by QPS and TMR);

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, practices and procedures relating to human resources, finance and information technology.

This position reports to the Team Leader.
